We have exciting news to share from the field and an urgent request!

Thanks to your generosity, Lasting Smiles Uganda continues to make incredible strides. Over the last few years, we’ve completed several critical milestones that are directly impacting lives every day. These include:

• Classroom curriculum for our students

• Health and safety standards

• Nutrition through our feeding program

• Strong infrastructures at our school

At this very moment, we have a great need to finish out a long-needed project:

🏠 Teacher Staff Housing:

Construction of 12 teacher housing units for a safe and stable teaching environment.

This is not looked at as just a housing complex—but much more! The teacher staff housing is a beacon of hope, and helps us bring sustainability, dignity, and care to our amazing teachers who support our students on a daily basis. All of this and so much more is made possible by people like you.

The Greatest Journey – Discipleship Program

We are excited to introduce a new opportunity to help our children grow in their understanding of God’s love and deepen their faith.

Through a partnership with Samaritan’s Purse and their Operation Christmas Child discipleship program, The Greatest Journey, we have received valuable discipleship resources, including:

• 160 Bibles

• 240 learner’s books

• 7 teacher guides

Our teachers have recently completed training and are now prepared to lead students through a 12-week discipleship course designed to strengthen their knowledge of Scripture and encourage spiritual growth.

We are deeply grateful for this partnership and the impact it will have on the students of Lasting Smiles Uganda.
